		<description>Interesting point of view regarding the small-product-owners. So true also how SCRUM makes it one of it&#039;s core principals to have that product owner involved. 

In some cases these product owners might need to be IT staff that can interface and help the business users when they lack technical knowledge, not the best scenario but an option to help the product.</description>

Although scrum-oriented teams are trained and created to seek out product owners, so we need to address the problem as it exists in dev teams and agile organizations.  If we&#039;re very (very!) clear about what product managers should/will do within an organization, we can determine if we also need (small-p) product owners to be face-front within the dev teams.
